About the Role

Join OSU Medical Center as a Respiratory Therapist – PRN Nights in United States. The Registered Respiratory Therapist reports to the shift supervisor/manager. Capable of setting up and operating various types of equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and or illness.

Work Schedule

  • Per Diem position.
  • Weekend coverage may be required.

Key Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for setting up and operating equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases and providing respiratory medications and therapies. They also respond to hospital emergencies, analyze arterial blood gas results, and assist in the transport of mechanically ventilated patients.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid Oklahoma Respiratory Therapist license and BLS certification. An Associate Degree is preferred, along with 0 to 1 year of relevant experience.
