Key Responsibilities
- Assists provider by collecting patient history and reason for visit.
- Completes observation, physical exam, telephone triage, and analysis of diagnostic data.
- Ensures that all ordered laboratory and diagnostic tests are tracked and logged and that the provider is presented with all test results.
- Provides education to patients, ensures education materials are current and appropriate, and evaluates the effectiveness of patient education.
