Key Responsibilities

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will be assigned to specialized areas including level 3 critical care, level 2 step down, the emergency department, and inpatient wards at Juravinski Hospital. Opportunities exist for advanced training to work within the Critical Care Response Team (RACE) after obtaining required experience.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program and hold current registration in good standing with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO), including successful completion of the RT Exam (HPTC). Required competencies include BCLS certification and demonstrated proficiency in professional patient/team interaction, organizational skills, and the ability to perform well under stress.
