About the Role

Join Vantage Point Behavioral Health as a Speech Therapist – Contract Position in United States. Overview Vantage Point Behavioral Health Hospital is hiring a Speech Therapist to be a part of our fast-paced and dedicated, innovative team. This position is a 1099 Contractor role.

Key Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Evaluate patients’ levels of speech, language or swallowing difficulty and identify treatment options.

Create and carry out an individualized treatment plan that addresses patient specific functional needs.

Teach children and adults how to make sounds and improve their voice and maintain fluency.

Help individuals improve vocabulary and sentence structure used in oral and written language.

Requirements

Must maintain current professional liability (malpractice) insurance and provide proof of coverage.

Must maintain all required Arkansas licensure, certifications, and continuing education necessary to perform services.

Operates as an independently established professional and retains control over the manner and means of performing services, subject to applicable clinical, ethical, and regulatory requirements.

Is not eligible for employee.

Benefits & Compensation

-, including but not limited to health insurance, paid leave, retirement plans, workers’ compensation, or unemployment insurance.

Is solely responsible for all federal and Arkansas state taxes, including self‑employment taxes.
