FFSP Associate Generalist Counselor

About the Role

This position is for a pre-licensed clinical counselor at the Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC) at Naval Air Station Lemoore, California. The role involves providing individual, couples, family, and group counseling to active duty personnel, retired military members, reserve components, and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide counseling focused on family dynamics, couples communication, stress reduction, and military life adjustment.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver treatment.
• Manage Family Advocacy Program cases including intimate partner violence and child abuse allegations.
• Facilitate support groups and seminars focused on prevention and intervention.
• Develop programs to foster healthy family relationships and maintain professional standards.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Clinical Psychology.
• Must provide proof of U. S. citizenship.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance.
• Current continuing education credits.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary range: $62,033 to $72,375 per year.
• Relocation expenses reimbursed per agency policy.

Work Schedule

• Full-time, 35-40 hours per week.
