About the Role

Join Mayo Clinic as a Physical Therapist in United States. The PT will be able to identify patients/customers: Inpatients, Outpatients, Home Health/Hospice patients, Sub-Acute Unit patients (neonates to geriatrics). The PT is responsible for performing an age-specific assessment designed to gather data relevant to the patient's individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

assigned to supportive staff (Rehabilitation Techs, LATs, etc.

The PT may be asked to create and participate in Community Engagement activities that focus on healthy lifestyle promotion, preventative medicine, and wellness topics.

The PT will participate in operational and performance improvement aspects of the department.

The PT will maintain awareness of budgetary and fiscal responsibility as it pertains to wages, overtime, productivity, and continuing education.

Requirements

Candidates must have obtained or be eligible for a degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree preferred, and must hold or be eligible for a Physical Therapy License in Wisconsin. Required certifications include current BLS for Health Care Providers, and strong skills in communication, decision-making, and basic computer knowledge are necessary.
