About the Role

Join the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System as a Psychiatrist in the Women’s Health Clinic at West Los Angeles or Sepulveda VAMC. Provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care to female veterans as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide psycho-diagnostic services and therapeutic interventions.
• Manage medications for various mental disorders.
• Deliver supportive psychotherapy.
• Evaluate and manage urgent psychiatric needs including hospitalization.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team huddles.
• Teach and supervise psychiatry residents with potential UCLA faculty appointment.

Requirements

• U. S. Citizen.
• Doctor of Medicine or equivalent.
• Current, full, unrestricted medical license.
• Completed residency in accredited specialty.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Preferred 5+ years practice but not required.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary range: $285,000—$315,000 annually.
