Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Therapy

Key Responsibilities

A Physical Therapy Assistant administers prescribed physical therapy to patients in their residence under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to improve or minimize residual physical disabilities. Responsibilities include performing skilled procedures, instructing patients and families in home programs, and maintaining timely medical records and progress notes.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association and currently licensed in the state(s) of practice. Two years of experience is preferred, along with the ability to exercise initiative and judgment, and perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and extensive standing.
