About the Role

Join WorkFit Medical Staffing as a Speech Language Pathologist - 12 Week Contract in United States. We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 12-week contract assignment in Syracuse, NY. This role is primarily outpatient, with inpatient coverage required on scheduled weekends.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation: Competitive pay The Speech Language Pathologist will: Perform evaluations and diagnose speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Schedule patients based on clinical needs and treatment priorities Educate patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing disorders Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in program development within the department Prepare detailed reports and maintain communication with referral sources and related agencies Participate in community outreach and education programs Requirements Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology Active New York State licensure Clinical Certification in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP) or equivalent Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Prior outpatient experience preferred Ability to work inpatient setting on rotating weekend schedule Must pass pre-employment health clearance.
