Duties include but are not limited to
Prepares and administers prescribed medications (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular and/or intravenous) and performs treatments according to established policies/procedures.
Promotes a safe, therapeutic environment adjusting heat, lights, ventilation, and furniture Reports and/or corrects safety hazards immediately. Meets the safety needs of the patients taking into consideration the age-related needs.
Applies sterile dressing to site and instructs patients on care required to prevent infection and/or bruising.
Recognizes and records reports of pertinent or changing patient conditions and behaviors both physical and mental.
Recognizes, respond, and assists in psychiatric or medical emergencies initiating cardiopulmonary resuscitation and therapeutic interventions for disturbed behavior.
Measures and records vital signs including height and weight.
Properly and accurately labels specimens, annotating time of collection, ensuring proper collection day and initialing all tubes collected.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8:00 a. m. to 4:30 p. m.

Paid Time Off: 37-50 days of annual paid time offer per year (13-26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year)
