Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess communication and oral motor needs, including determining the need for therapeutic intervention, level of functioning, and overall performance.

Collaborate with audiologists and other professionals to review records, interpret audiological data, and develop appropriate therapy recommendations and service delivery plans.

Perform ongoing reassessments to monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans based on identified areas of need.

Requirements

Recommend and support the use of assistive and augmentative communication devices, classroom accommodations, and environmental modifications to enhance student access and participation.

Identify barriers to learning and provide actionable recommendations to improve student engagement and support the carryover of therapeutic goals across settings.

Qualifications Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology with a National Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.

State Department of Education Certification as Speech Language Therapist required.
