Key Responsibilities
The role involves evaluating patients, developing and administering appropriate physical therapy care plans using various techniques, modalities, and exercise programs based on a holistic view of the patient's needs. Responsibilities also include documenting all aspects of patient care, communicating progress to relevant parties, and supervising support staff and students.
Requirements
Minimum requirements include a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school and maintaining continuing education as mandated by state standards. Candidates must obtain licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of work and Basic Life Support certification within 90 days, with no prior work experience required.
