Key Responsibilities

• Perform various respiratory treatments and therapies under physician direction.
• Supervise and monitor Respiratory Technicians.
• Assist in transportation of incubated patients ensuring airway maintenance and ventilation.
• Assess and recommend changes to respiratory therapy modalities.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Applied Science and Respiratory Therapy.
• Current New York State Respiratory Therapist License.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification (BCLS).
• Preferred 1-2 years hospital experience and RRT/CRT certification.
