About the Role

Join NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Columbia University Irving Medical Center as a full-time Respiratory Therapist specializing in adult care. This role involves day flex shifts from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm with weekend and holiday coverage at a leading academic medical center in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities

Perform various respiratory treatments and therapies under physician direction.
Supervise and monitor Respiratory Technicians.
Assist in transportation of incubated patients ensuring airway maintenance and ventilation.
Assess and recommend changes to respiratory therapy modalities.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Applied Science and Respiratory Therapy.
Current New York State Respiratory Therapist License.
Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification (BCLS).
Preferred 1-2 years hospital experience and RRT/CRT certification.
