The Registered Nurse is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care utilizing the critical thinking model known as the nursing process, encompassing standards of practice and professional performance. This role requires clinical knowledge and skills appropriate for the Intermediate Care Unit, which serves patients with various medical and surgical diagnoses requiring frequent monitoring.

Requirements

A Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing is required, and while a BSN or MSN is preferred, students completing an accredited nursing program are welcome to apply. Candidates must possess a Registered Nursing License (or be in the process of obtaining one) and must have BLS certification within 90 days of hire, with no prior experience required.
