Key Responsibilities

Provide a comprehensive assessment by collecting all information outlined in the program's Biopsychosocial Assessment Form.

Provide and updates diagnostic impressions based on information collected from the assessment.

Develop a treatment plan by establishing treatment goals with the client based on the assessment and diagnosis(es) and obtaining client/parent's signature on treatment plan.

Implement treatment by providing psychotherapy in accordance with diagnosis and treatment plan, applying a variety of psychotherapeutic methods with individuals, couples, families, and groups.

Requirements

Training Licensure. CSAC (Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor), SAC (Substance Abuse Counselor), or SAC

IT (Substance Abuse Counselor In

Training Must be eligible for Medical Assistance, Medicare (if applicable) and other third
