About the Role

Join BAYADA Home Health Care as a Companion/Buddy for People with Disabilities in Honolulu, Hawaii. This per diem position offers flexible scheduling and the chance to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Build long-lasting relationships in a one-on-one setting.
• Support clients in hobbies and activities like Special Olympics.
• Assist clients with budgeting, socializing, shopping, and using public transportation.
• Ensure client safety and well-being at home and in the community.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Passion for providing opportunities to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
• Patience, empathy, and dedication.
