Hospice Volunteer (Unpaid)

Volunteer with BAYADA Hospice in Mendon, Vermont. This unpaid role supports patients and families facing terminal illness by providing companionship, emotional support, and assistance with legacy projects. Volunteers engage in patient visits, activities at senior living facilities, pet therapy, virtual projects, office help, gardening assistance, bereavement support, and vigil companionship.

Requirements include effective communication, passing a criminal background check, and meeting state volunteer regulations. Volunteers receive free training and support.
