Hospice Volunteer (Unpaid)

About the Role

This unpaid volunteer position supports hospice patients and families in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas. Volunteers assist with home management, companionship, caregiver relief, and bereavement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with home management tasks.
• Provide companionship and friendship to clients.
• Offer caregiver relief.
• Support specialty areas such as Veteran-to-Veteran Support, Reiki, Massage, Pet Therapy, and End of Life Doula.
• Assist with clerical and office tasks.
• Participate in memorial service planning and bereavement support.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Completion of a criminal background check as per state requirements.
• Meet all applicable state volunteer regulations.
