Key Responsibilities

• What You Will Need: Experience as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse.

• Must hold or be eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta.

Requirements

• 4 years of crisis assessment and stabilization within an Addiction and Mental Health community setting experience required.

• Awareness of community agencies and resources for addiction and mental health clients (both inside and outside of AHS) is an asset.

• Training in critical incident stress management preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Nursing leadership role with comprehensive knowledge of nursing and health care practices and techniques as they relate to mental health long term care.
