Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Palliative Care - FT
Job Description
Join Ochsner LSU Health System of North Louisiana as a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Palliative Care. You will work collaboratively with residents, fellows, attendings, and nursing staff to provide primary and urgent medical management, emergency stabilization, teaching, and patient education. The role requires a Master's degree in nursing or a Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant medicine or Health Sciences.
Licensure as an APRN or PA in Louisiana with appropriate certifications (FNP, Adult/Geriatric NP, or PA-C) and BCLS/ACLS certification is required. You must be eligible for prescriptive authority in Louisiana. The position involves working in outpatient clinic settings with some travel between facilities.
