About the Role

BAYADA Hospice seeks volunteers in Dauphin County, PA to provide compassionate support to hospice clients, families, and caregivers. This unpaid role offers meaningful engagement in end-of-life care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with home management tasks.
• Provide companionship and friendship to clients.
• Offer caregiver relief.
• Participate in specialty volunteer activities such as Veteran-to-Veteran support, Reiki, massage, pet therapy, crafts, and end-of-life doula services.
• Assist with clerical work and memorial service planning.
• Provide bereavement support to loved ones.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Completion of criminal background check.
• Compliance with state volunteer requirements.
