About the Role

Join OKLAHOMA MENTAL HEALTH COUNCIL as a Therapist II in United States. SUMMARY In accordance with the agency mission statement, the Therapist II provides ongoing individual and group counseling to assigned population. The Therapist II completes documentation requirements reflecting clinical necessity which meets program and agency standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completes intakes, develops treatment plans, determines clinical diagnosis and refers clients to appropriate resources internally or externally
  • Prepares, plans, facilitates, and implements direct care of consumers through groups and/or individual therapy
  • Participates in treatment team meetings providing information pertinent to welfare of consumer for supervision
  • Provides crisis assistance and consults with various third parties as deemed appropriate

Requirements

  • Centered, Motivational Interviewing, etc. Completes required process for commercial insurance participation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Completes intakes, develops treatment plans, determines clinical diagnosis and refers clients to appropriate resources internally or externally
  • Prepares, plans, facilitates, and implements direct care of consumers through groups and/or individual therapy
  • Participates in treatment team meetings providing information pertinent to welfare of consumer for supervision
