Nurse Practitioner - Per Diem

About the Role

Carleton College seeks a Nurse Practitioner for a per diem position providing primary health care to college students aged 17-24. The role is within a collaborative team including APRNs, psychologists, psychiatric consultants, and dietitians.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments including history, physical exams, labs, and prescribing.
• Provide wraparound care independently during visits.
• Collaborate with campus departments and make referrals as needed.

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in Nursing with advanced practice preparation.
• Board Certified by ANCC or AANP as Family, Adult-Geriatric, or Pediatric NP.
• Current Minnesota RN and APRN licenses.
• Preferred experience in college health and CPR/BLS certification.

Benefits & Compensation

• Hourly rate starting at $55, adjusted for experience.
• Position is non-benefit earning but includes voluntary supplemental retirement plan participation, access to recreation facilities, and sick leave per Minnesota law.
