About the Role

Join Sentara Medical Group in Hampton, Virginia as a full-time Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician. This inpatient consultant role focuses on advanced symptom management and collaborative patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert inpatient palliative care consultations.
Lead complex medical decision-making discussions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nurse practitioners and social workers.
Mentor team members and participate in quality improvement.

Requirements

MD or DO degree.
Board certified or eligible in Hospice & Palliative Medicine.
Strong clinical expertise in symptom management.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
