About the Role

BAYADA Home Health Care seeks unpaid Hospice Volunteers in Middletown, Delaware, serving New Castle and Kent counties. Volunteers provide compassionate support to hospice patients and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with home management tasks.
• Provide companionship and caregiver relief.
• Participate in specialty volunteer areas including Veteran-to-Veteran support, Reiki, massage, pet therapy, crafts, and memorial service planning.
• Support bereavement and assist with clerical tasks.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Completion of a criminal background check as per state requirements.
• Compliance with all applicable volunteer regulations.
