Key Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations.
  • Develop and manage treatment plans for trauma and emergency general surgery patients.
  • Assist trauma surgeons with procedures and ongoing inpatient management.
  • Provide cross-coverage for trauma admissions and emergency surgical consults.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation using Epic EMR.
  • Employer-provided long-term disability with buy-up options

Requirements

  • Adhere to medical staff bylaws, credentialing standards, and quality benchmarks.
  • REQUIRED Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (Master's degree in Nursing) - REQUIRED
  • Board Certification (ANCC or AANPCB) - REQUIRED
  • Active, unrestricted Colorado Nurse Practitioner license - REQUIRED
  • Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross) - REQUIRED
