Key Responsibilities

• * Provides clinical interventions (group, individual, family therapy) in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment.
• * Counsels patients/families/primary caregivers concerning the facilitation of the medical plan of treatment.
• * Completes psychosocial assessment by the 3rd day of treatment.
• * Participates in PI clinical record audits as delegated by facility Leadership.

Requirements

• What does the Licensed Therapist do? (including but not limited to)
• * Must be licensed by the State where your hiring facility is located as an LCSW or LPC.
• * Certification in non-violent crisis intervention.

• * Recognizes and utilizes community and family resources to assist the client in long-term plans for life in the community or to learn to live with the patient’s disability.
• * Keeps abreast of mental health and therapy trends and knowledge. Participates in in-service programs.
• * 1 year of group therapy experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
