About the Role
This locum tenens Nurse Practitioner position in Pecos, New Mexico offers outpatient family medicine care. You will provide primary care to family medicine patients in a clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary care in an outpatient setting for family medicine patients.
- Manage approximately 24 patients per day.
- Coordinate care with clinic staff and document encounters in NextGen EMR.
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient clinic flow and patient follow-up.
Requirements
- Active New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license.
- Board Certified.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.

Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- No call required.

This locum tenens role provides malpractice coverage and covers travel and lodging expenses. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 to 5, with no call or weekend requirements. You will see about 24 patients per day in a supportive outpatient clinic environment.
