About the Role
UCHealth is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Occupational Medicine Clinic in Colorado Springs, CO. The role involves comprehensive occupational health services including patient assessment, diagnostic procedures, treatment, and counseling.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain patient history and perform assessments.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Manage health conditions with prescriptive authority.
- Provide counseling on preventative health and treatment options.
- Perform preventative health assessments and immunizations.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Nursing.
- Appropriate state licensure and certification (PA-C or NP certification).
- DEA permit and prescriptive authority.
- DOT and Level I Certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
