About the Role

Mental Health Clinician/Therapist position at Stars in Yucca Valley, California. Work in a 24/7 crisis walk-in center providing rapid mental health assessment and crisis intervention.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess clients at treatment start and as needed.
• Develop and maintain treatment plans.
• Conduct family collateral and discharge planning.
• Interview consumers and respond to emergency events.
• Visit clients in various living situations to assess needs and progress.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in psychology, social work, or related mental health field.
• Registration with the Board of Behavioral Science as AMFT or ACSW.
• Valid California Driver’s License.
• First Aid certification.
• New graduates welcome.
