About the Role
BAYADA Home Health Care seeks unpaid Hospice Volunteers in Norwich, Vermont, serving Windsor and Orange counties in Vermont and Grafton and Sullivan counties in New Hampshire. Volunteers provide compassionate support to hospice patients and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient visits including companionship, reading, life review, and exercise.
- Legacy projects such as arts, cooking, music to help families remember loved ones.
- Activities at senior living facilities, pet therapy, virtual projects, and office support.
- Bereavement support and vigil companionship.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
- Completion of criminal background check as per state requirements.
- Compliance with all applicable volunteer regulations.
