About the Role

You will serve as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the Nursing Service Line for the Anchorage VA Medical Center with duty in Juneau, Alaska. This is a full-time permanent position within the federal government.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain communication with patients and interdisciplinary teams.
• Check vitals, process reminders, review alerts, and administer medications.
• Participate in team huddles and meetings to manage and plan patient care.
• Adjust workflow to meet team and patient needs.
• Reinforce plan of care and self-help solutions.
• Enter appropriate information into electronic records.
• Monitor pre-appointment readiness for patient visits or procedures.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse credential.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary range: $39,017 to $88,990 per year depending on grade (GS 3-6).
