Key Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, treatment, and psychoeducation to outpatients with pain disorders in the Spine Center Pain Program.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team-based care within the clinic, including the Psychological Evaluations for Medical Interventions (PEMI) team.
- Participate in the professional education of psychology interns in our APA approved program, practicum students, and postdoctoral fellows, as well as medical fellows, residents and students.
- Engage in many of the available opportunities to collaborate with faculty, within and outside, the University of Kansas Medical Center on scholarly activities.
Requirements
- Education: Doctorate Degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from an APA or CPA accredited doctoral program (with an APA approved clinical internship).
- This position requires a formal degree in the cited discipline area(s) to ensure that candidates have the foundational knowledge and skill set required to perform the duties of the position.
- Certifications/Licenses: Fully licensed or licensable in the State of Kansas (primary) and Missouri by the time of the appointment.
