Join Stars as a Behavioral Health Recovery Counselor at the Desert Hill Crisis Residential Treatment in Victorville, CA. This para-professional role supports adults experiencing psychiatric crises in a short-term residential setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to meet clients' physical and psychosocial needs.
• Promote self-help skills in eating, hygiene, grooming, and other activities.
• Encourage socialization and provide behavioral feedback.
• Transport clients as directed.
• Conduct and assist with activity groups and outings.

Requirements

• Valid California Driver’s License.
• Certification as Nurse’s Assistant (optional).
• One year full-time experience in mental health or related services.
• Ability to communicate effectively with seriously mentally ill clients.
