About the Role
Join Baylor College of Medicine's Department of Neurology as a Nurse Practitioner for the General Neurology service. Provide clinical care under physician supervision in a personalized neurology setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain detailed patient histories and perform physical exams.
- Order and interpret diagnostic procedures.
- Prescribe pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and progress notes.
- Provide follow-up care per physician protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, patients, and families.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse license in Texas.
- Advanced Practice Nurse licensure (APRN-NP) in Texas.
- Specialty certification as required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
