Child Psychiatrist – Outpatient Telepsychiatry (Remote, NY License Required)Job

About the Role

Work from anywhere providing compassionate outpatient telepsychiatric care for children and teens in New York. This part-time, contract position offers flexible scheduling with low patient volume.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient telepsychiatry evaluations and follow-ups for patients aged 5 and above.
• Provide diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management.
• Document patient encounters in Meditech EMR and submit prescriptions electronically.
• Handle cases including depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team as needed.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted New York Medical License.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Experience with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) preferred.
• Comfortable with remote EMR systems (Meditech, Accumedic).
