Key Responsibilities
The Registered Respiratory Therapist independently provides respiratory treatments and manages care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include operating ventilators, performing arterial punctures, and maintaining patient airways in accordance with clinical protocols.
Requirements
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited respiratory care program and hold a valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license from the Georgia Composite Medical Board. Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association.
